Pines Gun Club
A non-profit organization which
operates as a private club
Guests are welcome when
accompanied by a member
Pines Gun Club is located just off Highway
69 South of Lufkin, two miles South of the Loop, in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas. The club
is nestled among 75 acres of open fields, timberlands and wooded areas.
Our facilities are open to members and their guests from 9AM until 9PM
daily. Proper safety equipment is required at all times on the shooting
ranges and courses. |

One year non-voting
membership: $150 per year plus a
$75 maintenance fee.
Voting membership:
$250 plus a $75 maintenance fee the first
year and $150 plus a $75 maintenance fee each year thereafter.
Lifetime membership:
$1500 with a $75 maintenance fee each year thereafter.
Membership applicants are
subject to a 90 day initial review and a 12 month probation period pending
approval by the board of directors based upon safety practices, courtesy
and adherence to the Club's rules and practices.

Members are requested to
volunteer at least eight hours of service work to the club each
year. This helps to keep our costs down. Membership does not include the
price of rounds. It is every member's responsibility to pay for his/her
rounds before they leave the property. Memberships include spouse and
all immediate family members 18 years of age or younger. Persons under
19 must be CLOSELY SUPERVISED by an adult family member at all times.
Proper safety equipment is required at all times on the shooting ranges
and courses. All membership dues are required to be paid by March 31st
of each year.

Directions
WHEN TRAVELING FROM THE
NORTH, exit Loop 287 onto Highway 69 South (Toward Beaumont) and go
1.9 miles from the loop. Spring Lake Drive will be on your right hand
side, just past Curiosity Railroad Salvage and Escol Equipment. Spring
Lake Drive is a small, black-top road. The Pines Gun Club is the first
left off Spring Lake Drive.
WHEN TRAVELING FROM THE SOUTH ON HIGHWAY
69, after passing through the City of Huntington, look for the Lufkin
Livestock Exchange on your right. Spring Lake Drive will be 1.4 miles from
this point and you will turn left just in front of Escol Equipment
Company. Spring Lake Drive is a small, black-top road. The Pines Gun Club
is the first left off Spring Lake Drive. |

The Clubhouse
The air-conditioned clubhouse
contains a full kitchen, inside dining area, covered porch, restrooms and
pavilion. |

Sporting Clays
Our twelve to fourteen station
course meanders through rolling hills and wooded timber and is sure to
provide a challenge to shooters of all skill levels. Pines Gun
Club is known for throwing world class targets. We are also well known
for serving some of the finest bar-b-que in East Texas.

Trap & Skeet
Pines Gun Club has three lighted
regulation skeet fields, two of which contain wobble traps. |

Five-Stand
Our lighted, eight machine, NSCA
Five-Stand Course is one of the finest in Texas. Computer controlled
and capable of throwing everything from the highest tower shot to the
trickiest rabbit, the Pines Five-Stand is sure to provide many hours of
challenging enjoyment. |

The Tower
Pines Gun Club members designed and
built our unique free standing 105ft. tower which is used for special
games, five-stand and sporting clays. The 10 foot diameter, hexagonal,
traveling platform can hold up to six trap machines and requires only 2.5
minutes to travel from the ground to the top, making for fast reloads.
Pines will be adding several new towers in the very near future. |
